Additional Information:
Authentic Chilean Sea Bass
– We take great pride in sourcing all our seafood and guarantee what we say is in the box is in the box.
With all the news stories about mislabeled seafood it gets very frustrating for all of us to watch what we eat (diet wise) and enjoy the seafood we like to eat. Sometimes we say “that sea bass wasn’t as good as last week”. That’s because it may not be sea bass this week. When you eat mislabeled fish it’s impossible to know what the nutritional values are. Fat, protein and Omega 3 etc., are different in every fish so if you are trying to eat fish with certain specs it’s hard to do. Inconsistent flavor and texture from what you are used to are sure signs you may be eating mislabeled fish as well. We source all our seafood as close to the origin as possible and inspect every shipment. Often a vendor will switch up a product figuring it is a fine substitution particularly any flaky white fish. Sea bass is often so expensive as a rule that many retail stores and restaurants substitute using a wide variety of species. We
never
substitute. You are eating authentic wild caught Chilean Sea Bass, we promise.
The facts:
Wild-caught Chilean Sea Bass is a very good source of Protein, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Vitamin B6, and Selenium. Zero carb and high protein.
